I’m so happy! All of the contestants are so unique and beautiful. And moved as I am by Dorian, Nicola and Gibran, and as proud as I am to be in the show myself, there is also something else:
This is honest-to-god live music.
If you’ve been to New York, you’ve probably heard someone underground who melted your shell or rocked you to your roots.
Maybe that’s happened often – it makes the subway bearable, even fun sometimes.
There’s magic in them thar tunnels, and I’m so glad someone decided to make this show!
And then spread the word about this show because it’s SUCH a breath of fresh air!

Imagine “American Idol” for subway performers. The winner gets to play at Radio City, The Beacon or Madison Square Garden.
